The facial session with Rachel was great!

I have been seeing Rachel for a couple of years now for waxing and lash treatments. Waxing has always been a painful process for me. With Rachel, the pain was a lot less right from the beginning. And she really takes her time to make everything perfect.

A lot of spa in a small package! Modern and cozy. Rachel really knows skin, uses high-end products and has a calm and grounded energy about her. Also gives amazing relaxing massages with a Swedish leaning.

I absolutely loved this place. I got both a facial and massage done in my visit, I left unbelievably relaxed and refreshed! The place is extremely clean, relaxing, and both Amy and Rachel were extremely friendly and kind.

The facial with Amy was awesome, I had a pretty big blemish show up on my face the morning of my appointment, the day after it totally disappeared!

As for the massage, just WOW! I didnt realize how much neck and shoulder pain I really had until after it disappeared with the deep tissue massage I got from Rachel. I will definitely be coming back next time Im in Redwood City!

Highly recommend their facials. Pretty sure I fell asleep 3 times because I was so comfortable. My skin looks extremely refreshed and feels so soft even days later.

Wow AMMMYYYYY is amazing! I literally just had the best facial ever! 100% attention on me and my face. No slapping on a mask and leaving me for 30 minutes! She is so attentive. Yes, even applied lipgloss when finished. I found my girl!

Llumier is a sanctuary in a busy world.

I travel for work. When I first got back from a position in Tanzania, I had a break out running along my jawline that multiple aestheticians failed to address. I started going to Llumier for facials and, not only did they clear up the break out zone, they transformed my skin into a whole new me.

Amy is kind, knowledgeable, gentle, professional and adjusts her treatment based on the current state of my skin. I have stopped wearing make-up and my university students have mistaken me as their peer (even though I am a decade older).

At 38 weeks pregnant, I got a 45 min sapling massage and loved every minute of it. Rachel took great care of me from the moment I made the appointment to the time I stepped into her spa and got the massage. The spa is clean and cozy and Rachel made sure to focus on joints and muscles that needed the most attention, after asking me a few questions. I left feeling much lighter and had a great night's sleep!

I've been back to Rachel and her team a number of times, and each massage is always fantastic.

Just as before, I can't recommend them enough. Rachel is a legend!

The space is sparkling clean, beautiful, and comfortable. As soon as I set foot in this tiny spa, I felt relaxed.

Tiny gem tucked inside "Sola" building near Fox theater. Rachel gives amazing gentle and effective facials. I came to her in a serious acne flare, with redness and irritation from trying numerous products without success. After 1 facial and following Rachel's advice, I saw sustained improvement in acne and redness, so i rebooked, and after 3-4 visits, my skin is clear and glowing. Rachel gives sound advice, is a pleasure to talk to, and carries high-end products. I will continue to see her for maintenance and to buy products from her.

Finding a good place and the right person to massage your body isn't the easiest task. I had a massage from Rachel earlier today and I'm still feeling amazing hours later. I loved how intuitive she was and her great level of communication. I felt genuinely cared for and very pampered.

The location is convenient and parking is a breeze with the nearby parking structure.

Most beautiful quaint and clean spa. The massage I had with female therapist was wonderful. She addressed all my bodily issues with ease and followed up with some home care remedy. I call that five star!

I got eyelash extensions from Meng last week and I'm completely in love with the effect. This is the first time I've gotten extensions and I'm definitely addicted! 100% recommend, it has a great atmosphere and Meng was really great at helping me choose what shape and length since I'd never done it before. I'll definitely be coming back!

I'm so glad I found Llumier Wellness! I've been here twice, most recently for lash extensions with Meng and the experience was perfect! The interior is so well decorated and calming and all the staff are super professional. My Brother my parents got me a gift certificate for a facial here. I am 31 years old and had never had a facial before. I was always so self-conscious of my skin, feeling acne prone and just generally embarrassed. After the first few minutes with Rachel, I was instantly comfortable in her hands. (I am also pregnant so she was extra accommodating for how I was laying on the bed to keep me comfortable).

She talked through every part of the facial without talking too much, since I know a lot of you want to just relax and fall asleep during a facial ;). Perfect amount of communication so you knew what she was doing. She tailored a facial just for my skin type. She will go over this with you at the beginning when she does a skin exam to see your problem areas and/or what you would like to accomplish from a facial.

The entire facial was extremely relaxing. More than a massage (for me personally). When she was finished, I saw an obvious difference in how my face looked and felt. She even told me at the end that my skin is really not that bad, she was genuine and that alone made my day. She went above and beyond and more than anything, she is honest and good at what she does. I highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Rachel enough. This was hands down the best massage I've ever had. I'm sad that I'm only in town for a few days because I would love to make her my regular massage therapist!

Rachel is fantastic!! My skin has been, well, problematic for as long as I can remember. I've been seeing Rachel for the last couple months for facials, and for the first time in a very long time, my skin is to the point where I'm comfortable not wearing make-up. This place was fabulous! I have a normal place that I used to go to, but time constraints what they were, I sought out a nearby spa so I could get some essentials done on my lunch hour. THIS is now my new regular spot! Rachel and Meng were perfect, and their skills top notch. I felt pampered and appreciated, and I cannot wait to go back!

I just moved here from the east coast, and as a man, I have had bad luck trying to find a good place to get a decent manicure. I happened upon Llumiere Wellness by chance after getting a haircut in the same building, and I am glad I did...if you want a great manicure or pedicure, go to Llumiere. It's a it pricey for both ($35 for men's manicure), but it is definitely worth it. Meng is a great nail tech who takes her time and is very meticulous. She never rushes to do my nails. I would highly recommend Llumier and Meng for anyone wants a great manicure and pedicure.

I am SO happy to have found Rachel again - I saw her for years when she was working at the 4Seasons. I have had many massages in top spas, and NO ONE has compared to Rachel. Between her massages and facials, Rachel provides the most relaxing and effective treatments. Icing on the cake is that I have celiac disease and can't be exposed to gluten. She has several gluten free products, so there was no issue there. I can't recommend highly enough - go to Llumier!

Simply stated: A-mazing!!! I had my lashes done on Chinese New Years. I was a little nervous about having eyelash extensions placed on but Meng couldn't have been nicer, she is amazing! I told Meng that I wanted a "natural" look. I got exactly what I asked for! They are beautiful! Much lighter, and they don't bother me at all! No itching, burning, discomfort, etc. Thanks Meng!

I went Llumier Wellness for the first time this weekend and I'm so glad I decided to try it out. It was such a nice place and everyone who works there is welcoming and friendly. I had an appointment to get a facial done with Desirae and it started right on time. She did an amazing job! She was professional and explained a little bit about everything to me as we went along, but ultimately she made the whole experience so relaxing for me. She's knowledgeable about what she's doing and cares about creating a nice, relaxing experience. I will definitely be booking future appointments with Desirae and trying out some of the other treatments at Llumier Wellness.

From the moment I walked into Llumier, I was in love! The space is gorgeous and instantly relaxing: amazing mood lighting, luxurious materials everywhere (wood, furry blankets) and a super welcoming staff.

I just received my first Clear facial from Desirae, and feel amazing. My skin is oily, sensitive and acne-prone, and I saw her right after a recent chin breakout (Ugh!). Desirae expertly navigated my face - using a variety of products for different parts of my face, extracting my black heads and pimples, and while a mask was drying, she gave me an awesome shoulder and forearms/hands massage! She was super informative and made me feel 100% cared for. Already scheduled my next appointment!

I have only been coming to Llumier for a couple months now, and I have already noticed a drastic improvement in my skin. The facials and chemical peels have done wonders on my acne and dark spots. Rachel is an amazing aesthetician who has a gentle touch (perfect for my sensitive skin!) and has the ability to assess your needs with a keen eye. I've seen her a couple times and my skin has been so refreshed after each visit.

I also had the pleasure of getting a mani-pedi with Meng. She is patient, sweet, and super artistic. They mix their own sugar scrubs on site and not only did my nails look good, but my hands and feet felt so soft and pampered afterward.

Both women will make you feel amazing when you step out!

I must say I never was a big skin girl until I started going to Llumier Wellness. I normally would get facials throughout the year / never on a regular basis. This was before I met Rachel & Rae.

I've now had 2 facials with Rae & she makes me feel comfortable & I can be open about my skin needs with her. She has a gentle touch / gives an amazing massage during my facial.

The heated bed is INCREDIBLE

Rae was the first person I've gone to that hasn't overwhelmed me with too many products. She told me which ones I should try / talked to me about my at home routine which I also really liked.

I also had my nails done by Maria. The nail room itself is gorgeous & all of the nail polishes didn't have a harmful smell which was a nice change.

I'm thoroughly convinced that Diana's fingertips are equipped with stress eating piranhas that have tension busting laser beams attached to their friggin foreheads.

Rachel & Diana are both masters in the art of massage/have their technique is down to a science. It's a perfect blend of both! My back has never felt better and each of them offer a great combo of deep therapeutic work and flowy, relaxing strokes.

Of course the services are the most important thing, but a great massage is even better when the facilities are top notch too!. The rooms are modern, inviting and have tons of unique charm. The massage tables and linens are very luxe and it's clear no expense was spared.

the 4 Season has arrived in Redwood City! Well, not really, but the caliber of service and treatment has! A friend told me about this place this past week, so I stopped by to check it out and asked if they had any open slots for a massage today, which they did. Come to find out that I believe the owner and a couple of the therapist came from a long time service at the 4 Seasons, and you could completely tell based from the moment you stepped into they're doors, with the warm and very professional greetings. Had the pleasure of having Diana as my Massage therapist and went with the deep tissue direction. Hands down one of the best massages I've gotten. Good Luck Llumier!

Rachel deserves more than 5stars.
She gave me a clear facial compare to my sensitive skin with acnes. Whatever treatment she has done for me helped my skin to glow and reduced %30 of my acnes. I definitely go back to her for another facial. Also she is honest and very knowledgable about skin care.

Best facial of my life! I have been to a number of luxurious spas (including CordeValle, Four Seasons, St. Regis, Etc.) but I have never felt like my face was so clean, moisturized and glowing than after a facial with Rachel. Rachel has worked on the medical side of dermatology as well as the spa side and I think that her background helps her to completely analyze the face and know the best treatments to get you perfect, radiant skin. Regardless of the treatment, you will leave relaxed, rejuvenated, and with your expectations blown out of the water. I have been going to Rachel for over a year now for both facials and massages and I can't praise her enough. She is very knowledgable and attentive, and tailors her work to your skin or body on that day - not like others who seem to just have their "routine". My skin feels absolutely incredible after her treatment, and she was invaluable for pre and post natal massages. Now that I am a tired mama she knows how to work out all the knots so I just melt, and I always leave her feeling pampered.
